Hi, my name is Richard Hammond and I'm a New York City-based bass player. I'm originally from New Zealand, and since arriving in New York I've been fortunate enough to play with a wide array of amazingly talented artists and producers across a broad musical spectrum. I play both Electric and Acoustic Bass, and have an equal love for both. I tour internationally and nationally with some incredible musicians, and over the years I've been lucky enough to stay really busy - achieving a fun balance of touring, gigging in NYC, and recording.
